So, Rainbow Dash's turn to get her mane messed up :D

Now I'll just have to figure out how to do some body shading. Tried it on her hooves in this one, but I just couldn't get it right... Oh well, that's a problem for another day :)

I think body shading would help here; it kind of looks like she's wearing a wig of some sort because the "sketchy" feel of the mane differs a bit from the "solid" feel of the body (it's a vector, correct?).

And yes, I did read the description part about body shading, just so you know. It's a nice piece overall, though. c:

(Or maybe you could try "sketching" her body like you did with the mane.)

Hey, some input is always appreciated! This is indeed all vector, and yes, it looks really weird with just the shading on the mane. I'd love to get some style for the body down, but I just haven't got any time to do any art stuff lately :/

Anyway, by "sketching" her body, do you mean sort of like *mysticalpha does? He does have a really awesome art style, but I don't want to go all copy-pasta on him. I did actually think about trying to go for one or two shadow colors for the body, and maybe some hilights, but as I said I haven't got any time to experiment with these things, and that's kind of needed to find a style that looks good and feels good to work with.

But yeah, thanks again for the input and your time :)

That's fine.

I meant sketching her body by making it/drawing it (instead of using a vector) in your own style, like you did with the mane. It might fit a bit better that way, but do it at your leisure of course.
